I explain enterprise infrastructure for a living. At home, the same instincts operate without oversight. This is where I document the results — and occasionally defend the decisions.

About
I'm a Portfolio Solutions Engineer at Cisco Systems, working at the intersection of enterprise networking and security. My background covers data center infrastructure — virtualization, storage, networking, and security — with a particular focus on making complex systems legible to the humans who have to run them.
Outside of work, I build things that don't strictly need to be built. Currently that means a self-hosted AI platform wrapped in a full Cisco security stack, running in a four-node home lab. It's part learning environment, part portfolio project, and part answer to the question: "what actually happens when you put enterprise-grade security controls around a local LLM?"
This site is where I write about that, and other side projects across AI, infrastructure, and whatever technology I'm currently overcomplicating.
Projects
A self-hosted AI homelab built as a Cisco Solutions Engineer learning platform. Four physical servers running a heterogeneous GPU inference stack, a full Cisco security architecture (Firepower, Secure Access, ISE), and a Kubernetes-orchestrated AI application layer. The centrepiece is the SE Prep Assistant — a privacy-preserving pre-sales intelligence tool that processes customer and competitive data entirely on-premises.
